The identity of the four of the seven Turkish refugees who drowned in the Aegean and the nine of the twelve people who were rescued three days ago were revealed. There were 19 people in the boat sinks off the coast of Chios.
BOLD – A new group of refugees who had to leave Turkey because of the ‘Tenkil Process’ perished in the Aegean Sea. Since July 15, there have been many family tragedies in the Aegean and Meriç due to intense state-directed pressure on Hizmet (Gulen) Movement supporters.
The seven people have been lost because of the capsizing of their boat while they were trying to cross into Greece from Turkey on the morning of September 27, 2019. Greek sources have not yet made an official statement on the identity of seven refugees who have drowned. According to the information obtained from the hospital in Chios where the dead bodies were taken, the identities of the seven drowned people including 4 children and 1 baby were revealed:
1-MUSTAFA SAİD ZENBİL (12 years old)
2-MELTEM ZENBİL (40 years old)
3-KEVSER SEZER (58 years old)
4-MAHİR IŞIK (4 months old)
5-MUSTAFA KARA (6 years old)
6-GÜLSÜM KARA (8 years old)
7-İBRAHİM IŞIK (3 years old)
DOCTOR CRIED WHILE EXAMINATION
It has been reported that the morgue doctor examined the dead baby’s body while crying. The names of 8 rescued out of 12 people are Oğuz Zenbil, Bedirhan Zembil, Yusuf Deniz, Arife Deniz, Alp Deniz, Arife Deniz, Büşra Deniz, Fatma Işık, Nazir Işık.
The identities of the other 6 people in the boat haven’t been revealed yet.
55 DAYS OLD BABY
Member of Parliament Human Rights Commission and HDP Kocaeli MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu published photos of Işık family from his social media account and from the Aegean disaster where 5 children and 2 women died… Işık family with 2 children, one was 55 days old, mother Fatma from Batman and father Nasır from Bitlis… Unfortunately, the 55-day-old baby drowned. They were a family with a very painful story. May Allah give patience to them and their relatives.” He said.
